Every year in mid-June large numbers descend on Newquay and drink shedloads of Newquay Brown ale, then get aggressive and angry.

It was the headline for ybw on this forum somthing about angry boat owners in newquay rioting over increases in marina fees. It has gone now.

Sorry to be a pedant but it's akshully 'Newquay Steam Bitter' not brown ale.....but agree with staying away from Newquay without having a reason to avoid it.....place is not a dump just spoiled by a lot of arseholes who have moved in.........

Fraid I'm not that well up on Newquay beers.
Sposed to be a pun on Newcy (ie Newcastle) Brown.
Was just an off the cuff reply!
