No, no.....think you've misinterpreted my drift..... I meant that a £500 hit on a boat of your standing was a rather less percentage cost ratio than a £500 hit on Moose's vessel.....after all, it costs you alot more than that just to fill the tank/forums/images/icons/smile.gif...........
Must admit tho, Ive never heard of an oil filled anchor before either........

If you followed the instructions to the letter, can't you try to go back to the windy-thingy manufacturer and tell them it's blown up your A/P and what are THEY going to do about it? If their instructions are wrong surely you have recourse?

.....all assuming you followed the instructions!
