Does anyone know the make and model of this very salty looking yacht?

She does look similar to the Nicholson 36, and she has a similar large window in the doghouse, with 3 smaller windows forward, but the 3rd aft smaller window on the Nicholson is further forward of the break in the coachroof line, whereas it is under the break in Rudyraff's photo.

The drawing below is from NICHOLSON 36 - sailboatdata

Looking at the length of the bottom of the keel in the OP photo, it seems longer than the Nich 36. The angle of the rudder post in the photo also seems to be slightly more upright. It certainly seems to be the most likely to be a Nich but possibly slightly longer design.

This is the production GRP Nic 36, developed from the wooden Jolina 35, but with a longer less cutaway keel. I think the 36 was initially built in wood before a mould was made by Halmatic for the GRP with wood top production version.

Looks pretty close.

The boat is standing on a rigid truck bed - not an articulated ... so LOA is limited.

She has the typical keel / rudder of Nicholson and the aft coachroof / raised section is Nicholson ... so its in that realm.

Looks pretty close indeed.. the only thing that looks different to me is the prop aperture and the aft edge of the rudder. Mind you, these things are always subject to change and the OPs photo's are not the clearest..

I agree she has great lines. No matter how many people try to put you off, Turning her in to a silk purse would be so rewarding, and sailing her would be the icing on the cake. Almost everyone has or is doing the same but from a rational perspective dont do it. Id say go for it. while your spending money on the boat your not be spending it else where.
