Does anybody know what engine this is?

Hi,

I have just bought a project boat for my dad, initially we thought that it was just a hull but was then surprised to learn it had this engine, i think it is way under power as it is only a single cylinder, but we know nothing about it and can not see any name on it and was hoping somebody might at least know the manufacturer. So if anybody has any ideas i would be grateful for any information possible.

Nice little Vire BVR 6. They were product of the large Valmet Group of Finland, nicely engineered with neat little integral Siba Dynastart. Altogether a nice bonus.

Interesting LS, I've been to Valmet at Usikaupunkki, but did not realise they built engines as well. Their manufacturing was first class, building Boxsters when I was there.
