I've recently purchased a Dodnor 16, do you have any information on this class of boat. I think that there were 3 variants in total and that they were built on the Isle of Wight outside of Newport. I would be especially interested to hear from anyone who has a set of original sails or templates and information on the hull moulds. Thanks

Hi James,
I have a Dodnor Shooting Star Sail No 1 I think this is a simular dinghy to yours the boat has just ben completely renovated the spec is as follows it has a trapeze, tappered mast the main sail is approx 19' 6" (Luff) the dinghy is currently at my engineering work shop in marchwood and will shortly be at highcliffe sailing club if you would like to see her or require more info then please ring day time 02380 663067 and ask for mark or in the evening 02380 269105 my email: wurz@clara.co.uk
