I want to add a logo onto my cockpit spray dodgers. Does anyone know what sew on material is usually used for lettering etc?

Usually PVC fabric ,which can be cut with fraying .

One boat had same material used for sail numbers - self-adhesive.
Another I had - was painted with fabric paint.
