A curse on the house of the MDL accountant who earned his annual bonus by taking the hoses away. When I have to fill up at MDL I use a jug, unfortunately it uses ten times the amount of water, but hey, with MDL rates, I think they can afford it.

I doubt it was an accountant, more likely the H&S bod, or someone from the water company. I've no issue with the malediction, but can we extend it to the idiots who think it's OK to shove the public hose into a dog, let it dangle in the sea or leave it as a tangled trip hazard?

Is it OK to shove any hose into a dog? My mind is still boggling at that. Wouldn't you need some vaseline at the very least?

I can't help thinking that the mutt would let you know what he thought about it. Do it to a Doberman and I'd guess that "let you know" might well involve some well deserved minor amputations
