lescargot - I've not been up the Spinnaker Tower yet, what a view!
Would I be able to ad this photo to our gallery?
I have to ask unless already stated as I don't want to infringe on anyones copyright (snooks will know what I'm on about, being a pro).
The idea of the gallery is simply to slowly build up a reference collection of 'real' photos of UK marinas, preferably taken by visiting boaters rather than the marinas ad shots, which can sometimes be a little selective in their view points!
peterb - Thanks for the extra marinas, I'm making a list.
If anyone else knows of any marinas not included please feel free to let me know.
As for the tip off about real baths and lots of hot water at Shotley Point Marina, thats brilliant! Its that sort of thing that makes a difference. I can think of more than once when I'd have given my right arm for a hot bath at the end of a long cold day. I've already added it to that marinas details.
snooks - Just visited your site - great photos. How do you get the aerial shots - helicopter, or trade secret? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I'm afraid I can't buy any photos as www.safeberths.com isn't a commercial site run by some big company, but rather my attempt at producing something useful whilst learning about web design.

Please do, I have added this one of Gosport Marina if you want to use it as well. Spinnaker Tower is well worth a visit but do pick your day to get best visibilty - out of season is often best.
lescargot - Thanks for the photos, I've added them.
Galadriel - Another boater into hot air ballooning!
Again, a good photo, the aerial shots always give a good view of the layout. Is this your photo, and could I possibly add it to the gallery?

I just thought it was funny that I sell my images, and people are happy to give away images that could be sold...guees that's just my professional head on
Thanks for the kind words about my work...to answer your question about the aerials. The power boats shots are from a helicopter...I can't remember whether there are any sceanics from Mallorca on there...they were from a Cesna....and the RIB shoot (with guns) was a very cheap helicopter, also known as the Itchen Bridge! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I tried selling my photos of Chichester harbour, no takers, I have hi def photos of Northney, Birdham, Itchenor and the entrance to Chi harbour. If you ever need any for the mag, PM me I'm sure we can do a deal! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
