In fairness the tide was just turning but she hadn't and was balanced twix the light breeze and faint stirrings of the early flood.

I agree. So when the sinker comes out of the mud, where will the ship drift too? As it will come out at high tide, my guess is downstream, and perhaps going ashore at Tollesbury. Place your bets
