Captured this image of a poor neglected Slug, languishing on a mud bank in darkest Norfolk yesterday. Honestly, some people! It's all well and good messing about in punts and so forth, but what about loyalty, commitment and dare I say it, love?

If you want to talk about neglect - there's a boat stranded at the top of Bosham Creek that has been there for weeks - probably from a failed mooring - just left there ... she's sat upright and just waiting to be refloated ...
I've not looked closely so can't tell if there are holes that prevent recovery though ...

Every time I drive down the Bosham straight I notice her... surely someone cares enough to go and save her... there were two originally, but the other was rescued pretty quickly...

I do not think she looks that unloved - her owner has taken the sails and boom off for the winter. Not much more you can do if you need to leave her on her mooring.

Good grief - you've got yours well trained. mine says things like "come on get your finger out you old xxxxer - lets get some real sailing in now!" and ''what the XXXX are you playing at NOW!' shakes her sails at me, and refuses to co-operate until I get it right.... No: just grp and metal, no feelings.
