No. But I have done a lot with them.
In its simplest form it should not be too dificult, the only parts you would have to buy is the membrane around 3-400 euros each depending on how much capacity you want. You could make a pressure vessel depending on your facilities and you will have to buy either a Clarke type pump or a Cat pump (used in car washes) to provide the high pressure feed (900 psi) - if you mount this below the w/l you can get away without a feed pump. The flow rates can be got from google as I cant remember them off the top of my head. A restriction valve and, a pressure gauge and a flow gauge and you are done.

You will of course need a lot more bits than that but thats the basics

It would be a project thats for sure. Be carefull with 900psi water though - blow the end cap off your pressure vessel and it could go through you or the side of your boat!

Good luck with it

Paul

I am currently installing a DIY watermaker in my yacht in durban (south africa)
the membrane and pressure vessel was supplied to me by a frend. The pressure vessel made in SA but the membrane imported. The outout is approx 80 lt/hour and is either mains electricty driven of belt driven from main engine. I have mine mains driven and have fitted a mains alternator belt driven from my main engine. PM me with contact details and I can help with supply of parts you cannot get in namibia.
