Redoing my battery compartment wiring . Both my planar heater and small solar panel (with regulator) require direct connections to the house battery (both fused close to the battery). Everything else is isolated with a large battery isolating switch.
My options seem to be
1. a direct connection to the battery terminal eg one of these
Positive Battery Terminal Clamp - 3 Stud Connection

2. use the chunky connection post on the rear of the isolator switch (ie before the switch) so that it is always on
Marine Battery Isolator Switch, Removable Actuator- 2 Posn, 300A, IP67

3. install a suitably rated positive bus bar (that is either connected to the switch as in option 2 or the battery terminal in option 1)

I don't want to overcomplicate things and both options 1 and 2 have similar length cable runs. Just wondering if there are any problems with either method? Any advice much appreciated.
