Dimblebum in East Anglia on now

DD gives the impression of another snooty yachtsman (who also looks like he'd be in big trouble without the guy with dog....) making every manoeuvre look difficult, barking at the crew when it doesn't go well and reinforcing the stereotype of sailing being the chosen hobby for the elite few.

Missing out Burnham, The Blackwater, The Walton Backwaters, Deben etc. At least the Punch and Judy chap got some air time, that's the way to do it!

Dylan Winter's low budget efforts are much more watchable.

Well I liked it, a nice programme about the sea, it's environs, and a few boaty bits. I can see why it might irritate the boating anoraks. And I like David Dingleberry, not up his own ares - too much :) he actually seemed to have a healthy p I s s taking sense of humour.

Yes indeed. I have bought a few of Dylan Winter's cd's and they are quality watching. The best thing about them is they can be watched over and over again without ever becoming boring. I would dearly like to do the same course he has but time is an issue.
