Diesel hose in flex conduit?

My engine is a shoehorn business badly thought through at install.

To simplify i am thinking of running flex diesel hose from diesel tank under engine and back up to primary filter at front of engine. . This would touch engine bed and electric flex conduit.

If i run it in IP67 rated nylon flex conduit do you think it is a goer?

Thanks, as always, for any thoughts.

if that is your only option then I recommend you use sections of flexible conduit with sufficient length of exposed diesel hose such that you can slide those sections along the hose to inspect the lengths that were inside the conduit. That is what I have done and has worked well.

How about some photos?
Thanks for thoughts, but very tricky. Fuel filter currently all but inaccessible so needs moving. Water strainer needs moving to make way. So how to get fuel past water strainer and electrics?? Move electrics. But can't drill in there without removing engine. Fuel pipe as exits tank runs very close to exhaust elbow, needs new stop tap, which will stick out from tank further than old one etc, etc. _20221205_143704.JPG

Where would you move the water strainer to? Most people like it to be readily accessible in case of emergencies. From what one can see in the photo it looks to be in a good place already?

The fuel filter being a bit difficult is one of the joys of small boats. Can you put in a hatch in the bulkhead to help access?

Move strainer to where fuel filter is. Trust me, it is almost impossible to change fuel filter where it is, and it is directly above engine mount which gets sloshed with diesel every time. It takes me about an hour to change the filter and that's on a mooring in good weather. The top of the strainer would be very accessible further aft. There us ni bulk head to cut through.
