We went aboard it on Saturday, it was there for the berth holders association end of season get together. Really nice guys on board, spent 10 minutes giving my son a tour and letting him have a play with the CCTV camera. Very basic fit out with no leather in sight....

I can't understand this thread. Why should it be so unexpected to see a police boat in a lock? I would have thought that an on-water police presence should be welcomed and the fact they are seen around so often will deter would be "dodgy dealers" from dodgy dealing"! Given the news about the cuts in budgets I think we should be congratulating their services.

I didn't say I dissaproved I just didn't expect to see it tied up in the marina.

I agree Dave, and really happy to see the good guys in some decent kit. Much rather this than see them in a 30 year old Avon with a 2 hp Seagull outboard!
