I can't find the route or start/finish nor times etcI have registered. I wonder why it stops at Wandsworth, surely more memorable past Parliament and the other more fanous sights. Not that I dont like Battersea Power Station...
Any link pls???

I understood the flotilla was going as far as Greenwich with Tall Ships joining in after London Bridge. Can't remember where I learnt all this, but I have been having quite vivid dreams of late

Thanks - I got that LNTM from the PLA but was unable to open the attachment.
QHM portsmouth system is better as it says in the header what the issue is and then its just a simple e mail LNTM not a .doc attachment or similar.

Worked for me - have you got and embedded pdf reader in your browser - as it opens directly on the link above.
Anyway the notice is about a practice on 11th. May to see if the flotilla next year is practicable. The test will be going downstream ?on a falling tide, whereas the initial post was talking about going upstream.
Confused - I am

If the first boat is doing 4 knots, you can bet the last boat will be doing in excess of 10 to keep up. Could be interesting, they may need a few more practices.

Hi and thanks - the link or web page normally works ok but not on 11th for some reason.
As I say the other LNTM I get are much better and once filed are easy to open as the subj text says it all...
I was part of the 'salute' at Spithead in 2005 and it was a utter fiasco on the practice day - leaving the anchorage area and getting into a line up. 4 knots and 1000 craft on the tideway will be hilarious. I shall not miss that!
