Delivering yacht from Greece to UK.

Has it got those white cloth flappy things? Sails i think they are called. Get a small tender with outboard for those moments when an engine is needed and sail it back?

Old fashioned charts, a compass, i am sure others have managed it. :)

yep, got sails, the thought did cross my mind, it has a tender and outboard with it so this is tempting.

Pity. I left Preveza yesterday! Spent the last 3 days pretty much doing nowt! Could have looked her over and taken some photos for you.

PM me for the dirty on a few Expat 'mechanics' in Preveza. I can put you on to a local Greek lass who runs a really good engineering works - engines and hardware.

Bob Phelps may be able to get the inside habitable or at least check out things like bulkheads and main structural timber work.

You could get away with a minimal rewire for navlights, vhf and basics if you want to get home.

Batteries are easily obtained in Preveza as are starter motors and general engine parts. ( they sourced a new starter for a 26 year old Perkins 4-108 in 24 hours )

Bilge pump off the shelf in any one of 4 or 5 Chandlers locally.

Offer them 50% of what they are asking and stop at 75% maximum.

Try charterflights.co.uk - I rarely pay more than £220 or so return. There is a Thursday flight now.
