Smelly feet...

Just another little thought to cheer you up.

If you allow the smelly feet condition to continue, then the same bacterial-fungal mix will eventually cause another problem with some of your toenails - they will go hard and horny (opening for some silly jokes there) and then turn black. I have forgotten the name of this condition, but it isn't nice, as the nails start to grow in odd directions, like the next-door soft pinkie. This is NOT a wind-up, it is the fruit of bitter experience.

I repeat the cure formula -

Dispose of any smelly shoes, if you can, or swamp them with a fungicide powder before and after use. Wash your feet every day, wear cotton socks (two pairs a day if necessary) which should be washed on hot cycle. Change your foot-towel often, which should be only used by you and for your feet only. Dust your footwear with a fungicide. After a couple of months, you can relax a bit, but always keep to washing your feet every day. Salt water is fine for this job, btw.
