Deck ring Tie bars

Fitting this deck ring to my Contessa made from 6mm plate. four bolts will secure the corners to the coach roof. I need to tie the ring to the mast. I am going to have 8mm bolts each side of the ring and secured under the coachroof with eye bolts. I will attach turnbuckles to the eye bolts, but need a fixing to attach the turnbuckles to the mast. Any thoughts to which fitting might be appropriate.
