Deck gel coat is starting to give up the ghost. crowsfeet, type of effect. I intend to repaint this summer. Is this a solution to the problem and is there a product that will cover up the mini cracks prior to painting?

Cheers

Hi, Repainting with a two pot system will be ok. Sand it back quite hard and fill any imperfections with an epoxy filler sand these up and apply a reaction laquer undercoat preferrably sprayed. When ready lightly sand the surface again with 300 grit paper in an orbital sander and then spray the reaction laquer finish coat on. If you require any non skid areas mark them out carefully and mask them off from the rest of the deck and sand these lightly now you can roller on another coat of relaq and while it is still wet sprinkle epsom salts onto it as evenly as you can. leave until properly cured and hose off the epsom salts this will leave a good non skid surface which can be painted over next time and so on.
