I need to replace my masthead light, and probably my steaming/deck light too. Also probably will rewire mast with tinned cable.

Is there a good supplier of all these items.ideally I'd like led lights

CORRECTION : For DECK LIGHT only !!

No doubt someone will say - daft s*d .....

But I am seriously looking at buying more Motorcycle LED driving lamps. I have one on my motor boat and its survived winter / summer / rain / snow etc and still works a treat for very little power .....
You can buy in pairs as well matched ...... far cheaper and I suspect brighter than a 'marine' version.

Have a scroll through this lot :

led motorcycle driving lights for sale | eBay

This is the one I fitted to my motor boat and it really is bright .... I use it to find my boat channel entrance at night ...

4LED Motorcycle Headlight Spot Light DRL Driving Fog Lamp Waterproof 12-85HF BII | eBay

Whilst I am not answering the OPs question may I ask how the items suggested in your post would comply with the COLREGS?

One might also note the following which MAY be of use to the OP in selecting a product- assuming someone does suggest a supplier as he has requested:-

In 2012, the RYA proposed that an International Standard that specified requirements and testing for navigation lights with permanently fixed LED light sources should be developed for small craft of up to 24 m LOA. As a result the standard, (EN ISO 19009:2015 Small craft - Electric navigation lights – Performance of LED lights) was published. The introduction of this standard provided an easily recognised means for potential buyers to make an informed selection as it provides a means for LED navigation light manufacturers to show that their products are of adequate quality, conform to the COLREG requirements and will perform reliably.

I replaced my steaming light with one combined with a deck light, both LED, bought from Force Four. Both excellent, the deck light especially, far brighter than the old halogen bulb.

I have had a Lopolight masthead unit for some years, seems good although the first one failed, replaced FOC.

I previously looked at the combined Steaming and Deck light that fixes to mast front. But decided against ... I would like light to illuminate side decks as well ... which a light hung from under each spreader would do as well as give light to foredeck.
Other is of course - moment you stand on foredeck - your shadow is cast ... so I fall back on the old headband torch !!

Thanks for posting this, most useful thing I've read today! I was considering replacing my steaming light with a combined one and hadn't really thought about the shadow thing. That would drive me more crazy than working in the dark with a head torch so I'll stick with what I have and maybe change to LED bulb.

I have a separate LED spot light on the front of my mast to eliminate the foredeck and LED down lights to eliminate the side decks and the deck aft of the main mast

Cockpit is eliminated by strip LED's in white or red.

I also have LED spot lights on my aft taga to eliminate the aft steps when boarding from dingy.

While on subject of various lights ......

I found that Solar charged lights for the garden that switch on when light fades ..... fit my winch handle slots in sheet winches ... fit the handle slot in my foredeck windlass ..... so I can have a foredeck light lighting me home when on pontoon ... and it gives an extra light when anchored. The sheet winch lights of course lend a low light for sitting out and enjoying a tot.

I have a few set up to create a leading line to re-enter my boat channel at home ...

Sailing Zingaro covered this in a recent video with some nifty fire effect ones. I was very close to buying some too, but I realised that in the UK they're less useful because when it's warm enough to sit out it's also light really late. In the tropics it stays warm but gets dark earlier so they're way more useful. I still want some but can't see when I'd use them as we didn't sit in the dark at all on our two month cruise last year

I meant it doesn’t get dark enough to need the lights. They certainly would last the night I’ve just not needed lights in the cockpit any time it’s warm enough to sit there. That’s cruising the channel it definitely varies with latitude
