Deck Light Bulb Replacement

Anyone know if the bulbs are accessible in these things? Can't see how to get at it:-/

I think, a couple of plastic lugs hold the lamp in the holder, press to side to release.

I believe Stosk_lll is correct, two plastic tabs hold the bulb against an o-ring.

Bulb is usually 35W PAR36 screw terminals, available here (no connection other than I've bought from them) :

Plastimo cat no. 17530 I believe. The catalog merely says easily removed optic

Replacement "optic" ( sealed beam) is part number 17659 according to the Plastimo catalog.


Previously also said to be the replacement sealed beam unit for tractor flood lights therefore may also be available from agricultural suppliers

I have a similar unit, I have spare bulbs on board so agree with other posts that it is replaceble. But on investigation I found that the plastic rim had aged and was very rigid. I suspect I need to supply some heat to get the bulb unit out from under the rim.

I had one of those. It was a sealed unit. Took it into a motor factors and they said it was a tractor light. Cost me a couple of quid for a new unit about ten years ago.
