Deck hatches

My deck hatch above the forward cabin has been leaking all summer and took it off for a look but it's been bodged a few times now it seems and I think it's best to replace it, it looks like a Houdini hatch but. I markings so may be an early one.
Looking online I can only seem to find Houdini or a lewmar type hatch, is there no other options? Looking at probably getting a Houdini again but you would think there were a few more manufacturers to compare against.
The boats a 70s ketch so that style is more in keeping than the plastic lewmar hatches

Gebo and Vetus are the other big hatch makers. However you will find the dimensions vary as do the methods of fitting so you need to know exactly what your hole is like and probably how it needs modifying to fit your chosen hatch.

Sea Teach chandlery specialise in hatches so worth giving them a call.

I own a boat built in ‘73, launched ‘74. I searched for a like for like repaplacemt forehatch with no luck, ended up with a Lewmar that best fitted the existing opening. The original holes had to be filled and faired and new holes drilled and surpringly the recess for fingers in the inside of the coaming matched the Lewmar handle spacing. My advice would be to get all your dimensions clear and noted, then search for the best fit. At the end of the day Lewmar does not realy stand out on my boat compared to the original.

Bainbridge make hatches that apparently fit older boats but in my case, Lewmar was the better fit.

I replaced a Lewmar hatch on my boat and I used a Bainbridge hatch which was half the price of the equivalent Lewmar one. Mine was 600x600 but they do lots of sizes. I had a good price from Force 4 Chandlery.
