Any chance of anyone removing the stickies that no-one reads or contributes to in living memory so that we don't have to scroll down to the 1st post.

Give someone a new toy and you can't stop them.

If you stop the mods playing with the toys on the forum then they'll start reading the threads again, and you know what happens then....

Doesn't irritate me, but making something a sticky is a good way of making sure I don't see it. My eye slides straight over those just like the various other cruft (adverts etc) surrounding the actual content.

worra 'bout all those dead fora,
like Scuttlbutt voyage 1896 and the like.

If wanted 'cos of history, howsabout combing them into one archive forum?
