Can I be the first to say "Well done David - an inspiration" having just (18:25) seen him on BBC news having completed (ahem) 140 miles swim.

And it would be good if peeps knew how to post appropriately sized pictures!

Well , strictly speaking , he hasn't done the whole of the Thames.

He stopped 200 yards short of the lock yesterday , and started 100 yards downstream of the lock today , so there is a stretch of water 300 yards long in Teddington that is unswum.

We should start a Facebook campaign to get him to come back and finish the job i reckon

P.S. can a mod resize those photos , it's difficult to navigate the page.
