Dave will retune the rig as well for that money.

Ask around if anyone else needs work (not me this year, did it all last year) in Bridgemarsh and he will give you a group rate.
 
He has just inspected mine (mast down) and fitted new forestay and backstay, altered guardwires and a few other bits. he said his labour rate was £25 an hour. £75 seems OK including travel, shinning up the mast, snooping about etc and reporting back.
 
I am meeting Dave at Fambridge yacht station on Sunday 8th July at 3pm for a rigging inspection and tensioning. If anyone else has been thinking of having their rigging looked at, let me or Dave know as he currently has no other jobs booked in that day.

Considering the local Merc garage charges £100 an hour plus VAT for someone to look at a car, that's bloody cheap.
