Are there any known issues with solid grp repair supervised by a surveyor?
I’d like a reduction but
she looks to die for...

But not sure how a bit of solid GRP could have gone soft and pliable. And I vaguely thought they were foam cored hulls, but not an expert. I would certainly want to understand the experience of the yard doing the repair.
Might also be worth speaking direct to X-Yachts in Hamble or Haderslev before the Christmas break, or join the Owners group and ask on there?
Also I cannot see why the January Brexit day should have any influence at all. By all accounts any cutoff dates for VAT etc are end of Transition Period, expected to be end Dec 2020. But even then, can’t see what difference that would make to buyer or seller (I am assuming boat is currently in EU27 and VAT paid). Sounds like a false message trying to force your hand. Have the explained why this is so important? When is the repair booked into the yard to be done?
I would want it fixed, with my surveyor inspecting whilst the skin is peeled off and before completing the repair. Only then would I want to commit to purchase if all is well. But that is just my view.

How did your surveyor miss that? Is he/she the one you would choose to check the repair process?

0.3m^2 is probably 3 square feet.
Some sort of 'factory approval' of the repair might be a comfort.

They appear to be a sandwich foam construction. X-Yacht make great play of the stiffness and lightness of such construction. Thankfully not Balsa cored.

I can't see why you should be pressured into doing the wrong thing by throwing brexit into the brew.

I see there are two listed with Yachting Company Muiderzand.
I really liked them (although admittedly I liked most of the Dutch brokers I met). I'm sure it was Stephan Hagethorn I met. He seemed patient and honest, and it would surprise me if he left something like this out.
