Cushions for a Konsort?

Does anyone know where I might be able to buy new berth cushions for my not-so-new but sturdy Westery Konsort?

I am hoping that the original manufacturer may still exist after the various Westerly demises & I can just order them rather than go through the whole measuring routine.

It is doubtful if, even if they are still in business, the original manufacturer would still have templates for making new cushions. When we bought our (then) 23-year-old Westerly Renown in 1977 we got most of the old foam pads recovered and a few made with new foam. I first got quotes from some companies that made upholstery for boats and caravans, then when I had recovered from the shock I went looking for fabric instead, intending to do the work myself. By good luck I found a shop that sold Dralon material and had a wide range of options, and they could also make up the covers. The cost was a fraction of the quotes from upholstery companies and it was them who advised me to renew the foam on a few cushions. They also supplied the foam.

The only downside came when SWMBO and I were on a bus a few weeks later and recognised the same material. Well,at least that showed that it was durable.

We had replacement cushions for our GK29 cut by a local (to us) firm in Bristol then had them recovered. Can find the details if close to you.

Comfort Afloat In Fareham will have the measurements/sizes for the Konsort.

Comfort Afloat get a from me. They aren't cheap, but the work is good and they'll come to your boat to measure if needed. The Hardway pontoon is free for a short stay or a tenner overnight and convenient for them.
