Crusader Sails - any good?

I can't /quite/ remember the reason I didn't go with Crusader three years ago, but they, along with Hyde, Doyle, Kemps, Banks & Jekells fell by the wayside in favour of Sanders.

(IIRC, based on the same spec, Banks were twice the price of Kemps - read into that what you will)

Cruisey FB main & foam-luffed genoa - not the most expensive, nor the cheapest, but the ones I felt most confident buying - I'd buy again, for I like the cut of my jib ;-)

I have found Crusader a dissapointment.
The MD has claimed I may be liable for slander for remarks I have made on another forum.
I just want a sail that fits.

Another vote for Crusader

Kemp were unhelpful, another ignored request for quote. Crusader delivered on time, we're helpful and polite. New main, 130% genny, furling gear and stackpak/lazy jacks.

Superb company IMHO. No connection etc.

This is an old thread dating back to 2009!

Crusader have a huge fan base on here, myself included after having had many sails made by them for several boats over many many years. Forgive me if I would think there is more to this than Gertha's comments and I would venture to suggest that if he/she has a problem then talking to Paul Lees the MD at Crusader would be a better option towards a satisfactory resolution than is making snide comments on here.
