I have a good set of golf clubs which languish in my garage during the summer. It occurs to me ,with tongue in cheek that perhaps cruising enthuisiasts in the Mediterranean combine 2 hobbies in one . eg sailing round the Med with a passage plan based on marinas and ports with adjacent golf courses . I am aware that a lot of time is spent in marinas waiting for favourable weather etc.

Has anyone done this or have they mapped out a suitable route and list of marinas /courses etc which they are currently following ?

I presume that since no one has risen to the bait nobody cruising in the MED mixes golf with cruising.

As an alternative does anyone use their cockpit as a driving range aiming at seagulls or noisy discos etc.

I once saw 3 golfers in New Brunswick Canada lob about 50 balls into a lake

My home port (La Napoule in France) has two golf courses in easy striking distance. You could easily walk to the clubhouse of the Old Golf Course (about 1km from port) and Riviera Golf course is 5km from the port. I have a house on Riviera Golf which I rent out over the summer while I sail if you are interested!
