Dang. That kills the idea of transplanting my spare compressor which as you can see from pics I sent is r410a

Last month I fitted a spare freshwater pump. Idea is that if the main pump fails, no-one can even flush a loo, so the party's over. Now I can flip some valves and electrical switches and use pump #2 - take literally 30 seconds. Airco is the same isn't it? you should have two airco units, fitted side by side, with a 15 min swap over routine to deploy #2 when #1 fails.
IF you believe that you should order the £730 part, not bother with the £70, and order the £2850 item, which will come asap and you will be able to use the boat. The £730 job can wait.
