Cruisair all-in-one air con not cooling

OK. I'm arriving Thursday evening v late (on the BA that lands T1 midnight) so if you are not on the uber scooter and want to take my VW from the port and leave it at T1, thereby saving you and me both a taxi, then please do and I'll get jenny to give you the VW key tmrw.
But if you are already on uber scooter mode of transport ignore all this!
Good luck w airco anyway

Ah sorry, I am already on uber scooter.

Good luck today. I look forward to the successful update later today.

JFM - that flight that arrives at midnight can have mixed blessings - I arrived once and there were no immigration officers. Just walked through. Not sure if that will ever happen again. The 18:30 flight form LHR was arriving at the same time as a Turkish flight and the immigration queues were awful.

Yup indeed - I'm vary aware of LON-NCE flight idiosyncrasies and possible clashes with arrivals from other countries - have done the trip nearly every week for about 10 years - could write a very boring book about it! I flew to Mandelieu last week - that was much more civilised :)

Hang on a minute, was that one of those flights where *all* the seats are window seats? :D:D

Ps aircon all fixed and put back together, phew

Well done Jimmy. I know myself that its a pretty miserable experience for we cold blooded Brits when the aircon packs up in July/Aug. Hope everything else works for your hols

a few years back I didn't understand all this fuss about airco on a med boat from you brits,
but year by year we use it more and more,
two weeks ago with my granddaughter onboard, we even switched on airco during the night and during navigation, ...
something todo with age perhaps ?

well done Jimmy,
enjoy the second part of the summer,

Well done J -

well done Jimmy,
enjoy the second part of the summer,

Thanks for all the kind words from everybody.

Mike - have you started your big trip to PV yet?
Yep he is up to Giglio, per MM posts recently

Jimmy I'm in PV tonight (on a plane that has some non window seats, dang) till sunday night. On Saturday I have rented a flyboard and instructor http://www.luxurywatertoys.eu/experience/ and plan is to do it off st Jean Cap Ferrat. If you're goofing around on your boat on saturday feel free to drop (anchor) by. I'm going to drone the event too. I've also been lent a nautibuoymarine.com arranged by Hugo/MBY to do a quick test of it

JFM - have you been into Aquamarine in BSM? They stock both items you are playing with. Sébastien the water toys manager is a great guy and is a dab hand on most water toy devices.

Yup came around the south and east coasts of Sardinia and across to SE Corsica before crossing to Gianuttri. Checked out Giglio and Captain Schettino's rock yesterday. Currently in S Stefano. Planning to spend 3 days in Elba and then onwards to La Spezia where we will leave the boat for a couple of weeks and complete the trip to PV in early Sept. Weather has been kind except for the usual hoolie near the Bonifacio strait

That sounds like a plan, thanks; as you know we'd be typically heading up that way anyway. See you on the weekend.
