well it is not official yet but it is likely to be confirmed.
They will also change national currency to euro on 1st of January. So if there are some Croatian kuna in your pocket- time to change those…

That was dumb of them.. Many people were spending the Schengen-purgatory time there..

I'd imagine the overall economic and social benefits far outweigh anything being gained from non-EU citizens sheltering there while resetting their Schengen clock.

Could just be a formality but it will be voted on 8th December for Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria to join Schengen.
