Can anyone tell me about bareboat Motor boat charter in Croatia? I have my ICC but am still not overly confident so I'll get skipper for a day or 2. Is it straightforward? I imagine compared with the Solent it's a lot more straightforward /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Any advice will be appreciated.

Yoh! Teddypin and Welcome. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
What mobo experience do You have apart fom Your ICC Quall?
I mean 'hands on stuff' not Certs.

Croatia and those parts, as you probably know, have no tides to talk about compared with the UK.
So that's one element hat won't be such a prob.
Can be windy though, before yer know it!
What boats attract you too?
I have been looking at The Nimbus boats available.
I,ve have an old Nimbus.
I thought it might be a good Idea to hire one over there.
Like a 'Holiday test drive' should I ever afford to 'Trade Up' /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Kawasaki, I've done 5 days on the solent on a Sealine S38 including a couple of hours at night but that's it, I'm a really newbie. I've got lots of inland experience on the Thames in my old norman 20 (that's how I got into boating), I'm thinking of renting a Sealine S25 in Croatia from Split but I was worried I could be bighting of more that I can chew.......

May be of interest but Motorcats have a few MC30s in the med and apparently are the most popular motorboat charterboat out there. I thought there was one in Croatia. We have one available in Solent to do RYA courses and bareboat charter. MC30 charters
