Thought the rugby world cup was every 4 years.
Shane Warne - Is that all you've got?
And who's this Brian Lara anyway? Just a one-off fluke.

Er, don't think he is a one off. He's done it before, y'know. He had to grab it back from some geezer from Austland, and this time put it out of their reach for good.

Pretty pointless scoring a shed load of runs if you don't leave yourself enough time to bowl out the oppo. Looks like it was lucky for us that he cared more about getting a record than trying to make it 3-1. Afterall he is the captain, supposed to be above all that, or not!
3 nils good for me.

Are you seriously suggesting that the result could have been different if Lara had declared earlier? Had he done WI would have had to bat again on the 5th day - probably scoring more slowly than they did in the afternoon of the 3rd

Ah yes, Cricket : the song of leather striking willow ............. and that's just the spectators kicking the trees out of sheer boredom.
