Is it possible to replace just the crazed perspex in my hatches? I have been told that one needs to replace the entire hatches! This seems excessive to me. I thank you.
Of course you can replace the perspex/acrylic (or even better polycarbonate), as long as the construction is such that you can get the old out. In my experience it tends to be the metal frame that needs attention even more than the glazing, and then you can be in for some serious work. Not difficult but depends on your valu-of-time equation. Be careful if you replace.....the profiles of nominaly the same size hatches can differ markedly.
