In Terry Pratchet and Neil Gayman's novel "Good Omens" Crawly - the devil's representative is congratulating himself for a job well done in tying up all Londons's portable phones for 45 mins. over the lunch hour thus increasing blood pressure, making thousands of people angry and frustrated who will then upset other people and spread misery everywhere. Crawly also claims part of the credit for the M25
Now consider motor boats as Crawly's work. Whenever they go somewhere they cause anger and distress with those atrocious wakes and horrible noises. They even worry their own kind. I've seen motorboats turning very suddenly into the wake of one of their fellows. They are appallingly expensive, dreadfully wasteful of energy and as un-green as crawly could hope. They are incredibly male chauvinist too. I've never seen awomen driving one -- cant be all bad then!
