Cranchi 41 Endurance owners

Hello guys!

Thanks for the input. So its is a shore water plug that supplies dock water. It doesn’t fill the water tank obviously, but is there a tap anywhere in the boat that changes the supply from tank to shore? I mean how the boat knows where to pump water from, tank or shore?

I understand the pathogenic risks, and thank you for mentioning them Sir Portofino.

So say I plug in shore water from the dock with a gardena connector, and there is no water consumption in the boat, where this water goes? How it is regulated, and is there any short of water-plumbing plan for the Endurance to see?

Thanks

i have installed a direct water system on out targa 52. It uses double check valves on supplies from tank and pontoon so when you plug in to the shore You turn off electric pump and it automatically stops water being pushed back into tank . I would imagine this would be the same as a manufacturer set up. I have also fitted a whole house filtration system so any water from the dock is filtered and purified. just out of interest i cooled a jug of water in the fridge and it was difficult to tell the difference between that and bottled water.

Hello guys!

Just returned from a 10 days cruise in the Ionian sea. It was absolutely relaxed. The boat made 40 hours in total more or less without any issues except one minor fresh water leak in the rear cabin tap. It seems like I have a leak in the rear cabin sink, and minor quantities of fresh water making wet the side carpet walls of the cabin below the sink. I will solve this one way or another....

I have a question also.... in the stern starboard side there is a stainless steel ball, above shore power cable, like a flag base, but not sure. Can you advise what is this?

Thanks

are you sure there’s not a pole stuck down there that the ball was attached too?

a pull out flagpole would make sense

On my med 50 I think there were only 3 options you could factory spec, water maker, air con upgrade and £400 ish for a flag pole to accompany the base that was fitted as standard like your photo above.

Suspect your first owner begrudged the flag pole tax!!! Annoyingly its not a standard diameter that you can buy from a chandlery.

So we are 4 in total in here, let's exchange knowledge guys ;)

Hey Nick,
I just bought a Cranchi endurance 41 in Italy, so you can put me on your list here :-)
Wouldn't it be an idea to start a Facebook group, i guess it would be easier to find new members?

Grtz,
Steven
