Hope you all had a good Xmas.

Back to work and back to scouring the web looking for boat bits!

Does anyone know if there is a reputable cover maker nearish to Southend on sea. The chap I was using on Canvey Island has dissapeared.

The cover is for the cockpit of a motor boat. I would like to take the boat somewhere like Burnham, Chatham, Maldon even, leave it with them and come back in a few weeks to a nice new cover.

Getting a bit deperate now.

Many thanks

Scott

I think Jekells Sails have an associated company which makes covers, although they are based in norwich, they may measure the boat in Essex. I know someone who bought sails at the same time and they insisted in coming down to take their own measurements and then again to fit the covers.

Would also recommend Valiant like Ditchcrawler. Excellent work. Going back for more this season.

We have a load of stuff on Amber from Wilkinsons at Burnham. Sprayhood is top notch. I have heard from someone else that Jeckells can be problematic with fit. Friend couldn't get them back to sort his....

Thanks again

I wasn't expecting quite so many replies!

Great stuff. Should keep me busy for a while. Once the covers are done I can get on with fitting my newly made fuel tank.

Cheers
