Oh [--word removed--]... I've been onboard at Fleetwood for past 10 days (other than a couple of days at Whitehaven) but had no internet access so was unaware that there was a forumite in residence...

Duno. Theres no one posted on the Pub forum for weeks.

Not a soul has commented on my overnight trip from Plymouth to Fleetwood and back. Just to visit a fellow forumite.

pity the pub on piel is shut this year, i get scowled at by karen scar every day now from across the road, wish she'd go back. give us somthing to do on a sunday instead of all this sailing.

sorry to bring in Fred Drift - didn't know the pub had shut on Piel.

I useta sail from Knott end across to Piel etc and had many a night in the pub. Don't live (or sail) in the North West anymore so have lost touch.

Is the pub shutting temporary or could it go for good?
