An old hand from Maldon said that the 'Queen Bee' I was asking about some time ago was actually a Spanish built close copy of Alan Buchanan's 'East Anglian'. The dimensions mentioned for the Queen Beee in an old book are 27.5' LOA, 8' Beam. draws 5.5', headroom 6', displacement 4,500 kg, sail area 309 Sq. Ft.
Does this sound like the East Anglian to anybody? if so, any info on seaworthiness, seakindliness, were they ever built in GRP?
Any information much appreciated.
