Could be worse, I suppose.........

I had to look up what a mega litre was, 1 million litres. So that's 65 million litres, translate that into English and that becomes 14,298,001.14 gallons.

Can't get my head around these figures whether in English or foreign. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

When I was at Byron's in July and the level went down by at least 3 inches overnight, I calculated that on the 7 mile stretch we lost at least 3½ million gallons of water, where did that go and why?

It seems a lot , but if we use the whole length of the Barge Lock , that takes 1.5 million gallons to fill. The weir at Teddington fully drawn has 12.5 Billion , yes Billion gallons flowing through it daily.
