<cough>

Wassuuuuuupp ?
Not quite as lively here as it once was ?
Waiting for the anonymous or vocal complainers to take up the mantle where others left it ? ;)
Could be waiting for quite some time I'm afraid :p

The other East Coast Forum seems to be doing fine though

Neil,
say Hi to the family, long time no see

Hope your labours are bearing fruit and tyou can start to get back to the important things of life, like sailing.

Umm, well, it's been head-down-no-nonsense-mindless-boogie for 10 months so finally time for a sail.

Will be on Saguday from Fri or Sat this weekend for a fortnight aimlessly drifting around the East Coast.

Anybody about?

N

Hi Neil
Long time no see (and 6p too by the way, though not such a long time).
How's the band?
We've just come back from our hols but will be out and about at weekends and evenings. Next jaunt is first full week in Sept.
Keep us informed of where you are heading - especially if you aimlessly drift in this direction.

Yo wingdings, I'm fine how are you guys doing?

Band played Westo Festo just outside Bury weekend before last, really enjoyed it. Another gig in Somerset on Aug 20th. Not much else this year as our drummist has been recovering from a stomach op, but seems all well now.

We aim to drift in a generally Ipswichy sort of direction as the wind take us although there is a tendency now developing to head for Crouch and Roach and explore a bit first. All depends on weather and available energy and motivation. Will probably just make it up as we go along so will let you know where we get to. Would be good to meet up with folks as we go, we haven't been out at all this year and have missed it.

May well be back for the Aug Bank holiday weekend as well and aim for the Walton Backwaters and any residual pirate-type activity that may be lingering there.

Jim are you around at all over the next few weeks? If not may see you at the Pirates??

Cheers

Neil

Neil, we are off cruising to the Oare/Alde on 21st August, and going up to Snape for the gigs in the theatre that week. Will be back iN walton for the Pirates on 28th, then heading home.
Delighted if we could arrange something.

Rotund One
Doing well Jim, those packets of butter are falling away nicely by the look of it
We're normally closed on Monday and often take a trip that direction sourcing various items, any idea where you'll be on the 22nd yet ?
Would be good to have another mini meet
Snape area is so peaceful I could have easily fallen asleep when we were there :o

Dave, we will be leaving Fambridge on the Sunday 21st, will have to check the plan, but should be in Alde on the 22nd, weather permitting.

Will break out the rubber duck just in case, and pray Odin grants us fair winds. If Saggyday and Wingdumpster are able to make the same area it could prove to be interesting, nay, fun, even

Do you really think we could do the Alde???
SWIMBO is working the bank holiday weekend so we'll probably be about on the 20th/21st but working other days

Our "Men In Spex" gig in Somerset on Aug 20th has been cancelled as there was a (second) fire in the pub yesterday and it's now closed for at least two months - someone really doesn't want us to play there...

However this means that, after a bit of juggling, we're now going to stay on the boat from the 5th Aug right through to Aug 30th, so can join in any shenanigans that might be extant in the last week of Aug.

:D
