Boat is likely to be out of the water for the whole of this year as I am recovering from major surgery, will the coppercoat be ok or should she go back in ?
Have decided to keep her & get her in top condition ready for next year, so she will be having work done most of the time, which could be done on the water but is easier out.

I think it will be ok - but may be a good idea to avoid long-term exposure to strong sunlight. Try to get her placed in a shady corner of the boatyard?

It will need to be lightly abraded before launching to expose active material.

Great to hear you are on the road to recovery, and looking forward to boating

I'm sure the copper coat will be fine. More importantly, having read your posts prior to surgery, to have come out the other side and be looking forward to getting back on the boat is fantastic. It is slowly starting to warm up and good times are ahead !!

+1

there's no mention on their literature on UV, but being epoxy + copper powder, I'd have thought that strong sun is going to affect it. Shade, or maybe a "skirt" cover from railings down to the keel?
Wish you a fast recovery, a v.good friend of mine just had the last operation closing 6months of messing about in and out of hospital and is starting a lengthy recovery (gone from 75 to 45kg! in a couple of months, now closing 50kg and still v.weak!)

cheers

V.
