It's taken 10 hours with just two and at last the hull finish , just leave rudder keel and the patches to do .
She so shiny that the photos look as if we missed part of it .
Working out the full costing , will let you all know .
Yep, we did that. If the air temperature is high enough, circa 30degC you will be ok in 24hrs. It will cure faster with lots of heatIf there is any chance at all of rain or condensation in the next 48 hours put a masking tape drip channel all the way around the boat just an inch above the water line. If it gets wet it will be ruined and it looks lovely!
Take time on the drip channel. No gaps. And it must be away from the boat all the way around.
Thanks for all the tips guys , one side is protected with plastic cover , any changes of rain we just buy another 14 mts and do the other side after all that hard work not taken any chances .
So far weather in Sicily looking good till mid day Monday by then the last coat would had been on for 60 hours , should be safe by them , its 25/27c day time sunny and 24c night .
Next week the weather is all over the place with rain / showers/ sunny period and wind if we find a gulp in between that lot we finish the the rudder patches and Keel , if I can find the energy to day might do the keel , one more job out of the way .
EDIT
Check this morning , and it's gone off to touch , but just notice a couple of small runs , maybe before she goes in we can remove them when we lightly run her down
Where in Sicily are you btw? We're in Licata now.
