i am told white diesel is better than red is that so

Hello, I am a nubi with a huge wad.. I will now list every fecking boat made for the past 60 years in a series of posts lasting 3 years seeking advice on minutae including but not limited to "is the size of my tanks big enough" "Is it better for my dog to wee on a plain deck or a teak" and "how much will osmosis treatment cost on a 48 foot Westerly" before in the end I buy a Macgregor because I will be able to outrun the weather.

I have a Seagull Century +
with the high cost of fuel i am considering modifying it to run off of a 12v car battery.
i thought i could remove the pwr head & fit a dynostart ( i have one in the shed ).
i can then run the o/b & charge the battery @ the same time so i then only need a very small battery.
i supprise myself sometimes /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif, why hasnt this been done before /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
any thoughts.
