Oh I don't know, I find it quite entertaining when so many people with similar interests can't agree on so many simple issues. I dread to think what would happen if something serious and in need of discussion came up. As for the bogs, flags and hanky debates, I'll just stick to my front and back hanky with associated bits of string I think

Racers just have to be included in the Cruise / Muster....first to the bar to get the very large round in... or first to the beach to start the BBQ's ready for the the rest of us.

I've never done any sailing but I once went on a ferry to France. I am about to buy a 75 ft sailing boat with a 2,500 hp motor. It has a 60" plasma TV built in so it's just right for me. The salesman says it's really easy to sail so it's no good trying to change my mind. My question is - what is the best time of year to go round Cape Horn?
