As a know-nothing raggy, I'm surprised to learn that motahboatahs consider propellors to be consumable items, especially on Scuttlebutt meets.

Is this a fact, or merely a perversion shared by one or two individuals?

Well, one or two individuals do seem to manage to lose props on just about every event they attend. The majority manage to keep the same props for years. I hearby conclude it's a perversion thing

Maybe we should size up Cols props and make sure that the Mercury chandlers have spares in stock for the meet?

I reckon it’s all down to contra rotation on the same shaft, it sounds very painful to me.

Talking of consumables, maybe we should add rudders to the list /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
