Anyone purchased one of the Jeckels stock ECO range of headsails?

Comments?

General replacement headsail comments appreciated...

We are a tpical 9.5 meter sloop... roller reefed... fractional rig... 110%....

Our existing sail is the original 1999 from Elvstrom... and is now I think a bit baggy...

We arent too serious... just coastal cruising!

I've not had recent experience of Jeckells sails, but they've been at it long enough so should be able to turn out a decent rag. They seem to have a good reputation for long lived sails.
Whatever you go for, I recommend you pay the bit extra for a foam luff, makes so much difference to the set when reefed.

I've had one of their Marblehead 140% genoa's for about 10 years and I am just considering replacement as it's lost pointing ability in anything stronger than a light breeze. I spoke to them at Soton and they seemed to think that was par for the course if not too old. It has worn well and I will probably go back to them for a 130% replacement (with foam luff)

Had a very nice x-cut genny from them for Indigo. In Marblehead cloth. Held it's shape well for the 7 years that I owned it. Know nothing of their pret-a-porter range though.

Ditto. Got a triple-stitched ocean spec genny in marblehead with a foam luff from them in 2006 and apart from where it rubs on the pulpit it's still perfect after over 10,000 miles.

Marblehead is great stuff.

Bought a working jib from them-said was made for a customer wrong size but suspect it may have been a stock sail. Regardless they were very good to deal with, offered sensible advice and the price was about £200-£500 less than competitors and better than stock sails from Seateach.
