Beginners question. With no prior understanding of Navigation other than by using a compass and landmarks . Trying to get up to speed with the technological advancements of the past few years... apologies if it's a stupid question.
Considering a boat fitted out with...

Koden MDL-7 Radar
Garmin 130GPS
Navico WP100 Wheelpilot
Incastec echo sounder
Clipper windspeed

Can these items be connected to a PC running Maptech Marine software to co-ordinate a Chart plotter?

Hi,

I am not familier with the Garmin 130 in particular, but suspect that it should / will have an NMEA output, this can be connected to the serial port of your laptop, and allow the software to show you current position. You would not likly need to connect anything else.

There are quite a few posts, including on in the last day or so that reffer how to connect NMEA to a serial port.
